Privacy Policy

Last updated 15 September 2026

This site and the telephone number +1 916 619 4789 are operated by Owen Britton, a sole proprietor in Sacramento, California. This policy covers both. There is no company behind it and no other party involved.

The short version

Your phone number is used to carry on a conversation with you and nothing else. It is never sold, never rented, and never handed to anyone for marketing. No mobile information is shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent are excluded from all sharing: that information is not shared with any third party.

What this website collects

Nothing. There are no accounts, no forms, no comment boxes, no analytics and no advertising or tracking cookies. The site is served by Google Firebase Hosting, which keeps ordinary web-server request logs (IP address, time, page requested) as part of delivering it.

What the phone number collects

That is the conversation itself. There is no separate database of people, no profile built about you, and nothing collected that you did not send.

Why

Owen runs a household assistant that handles correspondence he would otherwise handle himself: arranging work on the house, scheduling with trades and service providers, confirming appointments, chasing a quote, and following up afterwards. It also receives one-time verification codes for accounts the household holds.

Messages are conversational and transactional. No marketing, no promotions, no newsletters, no automated campaigns.

Who it is shared with

Nobody else. Not advertisers, not data brokers, not affiliates, not "partners". Your number is not sold or rented under any circumstances.

How long it is kept

Messages are kept while the matter they concern is live, and afterwards as an ordinary record of correspondence — the same way an email thread is kept. Ask and it will be deleted.

Your choices

If you are a California resident, you may request the information held about you, ask for it to be deleted, and are entitled not to be discriminated against for asking. The answer to "is my data sold?" is no, and there is nothing to opt out of.

Children

None of this is directed at children under 13, and no information is knowingly collected from them.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it.
